Arnside is perfectly situated to explore the Lake District National Park, from the hustle and bustle of Bowness, less than 20 miles away, to the tranquillity of Coniston Water and further north the dramatic Wastwater.

Visit the pretty town of Kirby Lonsdale and Devil’s Bridge,  spend some time wandering around the cobbled streets and yards of Kendal, explore the Ribble Valley and North Yorkshire.
Lancaster is only 17 miles away and a short train journey from Arnside.

For some serious shopping a visit to Manchester couldn‘t be easier - trains are hourly from Arnside.
